Favorite Story

Something I get asked a lot is which of the books I’ve written is my favorite. My answer is always the one I’m currently writing. I know some may think the answer is a cop-out, but it is true. I think it’s because I am so wrapped up in the developing story and feel really close to the characters and the action, that it’s all I think about.

My current favorite is Lucifer. This is the first story in the new Fallen Angel series. Those who've read Realm Jumper Chronicles will remember him from there. The whole premise of Fallen Angels is what led to their exile from Issenara, the Angelic Realms, and what happened afterwards, leading to present day. Lucifer is the first of what I hope to be many more Fallen Angel stories.

Prior to Lucifer, I was working on a story for another new series. This story, The Alchemist, was my favorite, until I started writing Lucifer. (See what I mean?) In this particular story, we learn more about Davorin, who first appeared in Witch Hunters' Society. His is a touching story, with heartbreak and joy. It is the first story in the new Mystic Realms Love Stories series.

Well, I could go on and on, showing you examples of my favorite story and how it changes every time I begin a new story. However, I won't, as I'm sure by now, you've figured it out.
