Fallen Angels

My current work-in-progress is the first book in a new series, Fallen Angels. The story is titled Bringer of Light, and it focuses on the Fallen Angel, Lucifer. Here's the synopsis of the story...
Can a Fallen Angel find love among the humans?
All Lucifer has ever wanted was to live on Earth among the humans and find love. That's what he was seeking when those who wanted what he did rose up and made war against their fellow angels. The result, exile for Lucifer and the others. During that exile, the Dark Mother, Lilith bound them to her, making the Fallen Angels her personal assassins.
Finally, after centuries of servitude, the binding breaks, leaving the Fallen free to live is they choose. Now, Lucifer leaves the Nether Realm for Earth. His mission, live among the humans, protecting them from the rogue Fallen, while searching for his one true mate. Will he find her?
As I write the story, I find myself really liking Lucifer. He is personable, kind, and nothing like how religion paints him to be. I also enjoy the heart of the one who is his mate. She is loyal, caring, and non-judging. Just what Lucifer needs to come to terms with all he did while bound to evil.
I am really excited for this new series, and hope you will love the Fallen Angels as much as I do. If everything comes together in time, Bringer of Light will release later this year.

My next release will occur in March. It will be The Candy Shoppe, which is a twisted re-telling of Hansel & Gretel. It is the next short fairytale in the Raven's Twisted Classics presents: series. Here's the synopsis:
What happens when an old man decides he wants to be young again? He casts spells to steal the life essences of children, that's what he does. Who will discover this evil plot and save the day? Why twin teens, that's who!
Join James as he creates The Candy Shoppe, a twisted re-telling of Hansel & Gretel. Are you ready for another adventure?
And here's the cover...

I really enjoyed writing this and twisting it to give it a fresh take for today's youth. And, just a reminder, it's written in the style of the fairytales of old, so it doesn't follow the writing rules of today.

Well, that's all I've got for now. Have a great one, stay awesome, and I'll see you in the Mystic Realms. Until next time...
Raven
